  • Description: The Bread & Circus is a live performance venue with a friendly and casual bohemian atmosphere where patrons can have a great night out in Kensington Market as they consume new works, new music and all kinds of stimulating entertainment.

    Entirely owned by artists, the B&C is an intimate space for theatre, a perfect spot for comedy, amazing sound for music (best in the city), a party place for fundraisers and events, it is also a versatile location to shoot film/tv and take classes in with walls adorned with original and dazzling art.

    B&C has hosted NXNE, Canadian Music Week, Indie Week, the new-play Write Now festival and been a BYOV for smash-hit shows at the Toronto Fringe Festival.
